We get a lot of calls during hunting season preparations. Here’s some helpful tips to keep you in the woods, instead of staring at a safe door.
- If you have a keypad, replace the batteries. If you have any issues with buttons not reacting as they should, or the lock not moving when you entered the correct pin, start with new batteries. When the power level gets to the “Marginal” level, strange things happen. If you have new batteries, and are certain you entered the correct code, but the lock won’t open, it might mean an internal failure of the electric motor. Repair of this issue requires drilling the safe to get it open, and removing/replacing the lock.
